Assembly on Health is Wealth |
The students of Grade 4E presented a meaningful morning assembly on the theme “Health is Wealth” on 28 August 2025. Through positive affirmations, an inspiring thought, a poem, and a speech, they highlighted the importance of healthy habits such as eating nutritious food, staying active, maintaining cleanliness, and getting enough rest. Their confident and creative presentation reminded everyone that good health is indeed one of life’s greatest treasures. |
Assembly on Ganesh Chaturthi |
On 21st August 2025, the students of Class III B presented a special assembly filled with devotion and festive cheer to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. The program began with a soulful Ganesh Mantra, followed by a short speech highlighting the significance of the festival. A beautifully enacted drama on the story of Lord Ganesha and a vibrant dance performance added joy and energy to the celebration. A proud moment came when R. Kanishka was honoured for securing 2nd position in the District Level Yoga Competition. The little ones truly reminded everyone of Lord Ganesha’s message of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings. |
Assembly on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day |
A morning assembly was conducted by the students of class IX. Students of all the sections of class IX hosted the assembly. The assembly began with the morning prayer and a prayer song. A mesmerising thought was presented by one student followed by the news and two heart breaking poem in hindi and english were recited by two students of class IX. A skit was also enacted on the stage on the above mentioned theme finally the assembly was concluded with the national pledge and anthem. All the students from class VI to XII were present in the assembly. |
Assembly on Janmashtami |
The students of Grade III A presented a heartwarming Janmashtami-themed assembly on 14th August 2025. The day began with a peaceful prayer song, followed by Geeta shlokas and their meanings, setting a truly spiritual tone. Students showcased their talent through beautiful poems in Hindi and English, along with an impressive speech. A delightful presentation on “Krishna and His Associates” brought smiles to everyone, while a lively dance performance filled the atmosphere with joy and energy. A proud moment came when Nandika was honoured for securing 1st position in the CBSE North Zone Taekwondo Tournament. The assembly concluded with encouraging words from the Principal and the National Anthem, making it a joyful and memorable morning for all. |
Assembly on Rakshabandhan |
On 7th August 2025, students of Class III-C at DPS Refinery presented a special morning assembly to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm. The programme began with an inspiring thought on the festival’s significance, followed by a lively “Rhyme Time” performance and a soulful musical rendition accompanied by a heartfelt speech. The celebration concluded with an encouraging address by the in-charge, highlighting the cultural and emotional value of this sacred sibling bond. The atmosphere was filled with festive cheer, unity, and the true spirit of Rakhi. |
Assembly on National Sports Day |
A morning assembly was conducted on 29.07.25 by the students of class XD. The topic of the assembly was National Sports Day. The assembly began with the morning prayer and a beautiful thought. One student spoke about the relevance of National Sports Day highlighting the importance of physical activity in our daily life. An oath was taken by all the students present in the assembly for continuing various sports activity throughout life. The winners and various participants of MUN 2025 hosted by DPS Karnal was felicitated by our honourable Principal Sir and finally the assembly was concluded with the motivational words by our respected Principal Sir. |

On 24th July 2025, Class IV-D conducted an assembly on the theme “Parents”, celebrating their vital role in shaping our lives. The programme included heartfelt student reflections expressing gratitude, a French poem dedicated to fathers showcasing creativity and language skills, and an engaging discussion on the love, support, and guidance parents provide, along with ways to show respect and appreciation. The assembly served as a meaningful tribute to parents, highlighting their contributions and sacrifices while reinforcing the importance of valuing and honouring them. |
Assembly on Kargil Vijay Diwas |
Class 8C conducted a solemn and patriotic special assembly to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas, honoring the valor and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces during the 1999 Kargil War. The program began with a powerful Thought for the Day, followed by the news headlines and positive affirmations celebrating unity, bravery, and national pride. A touching Hindi poem dedicated to the martyrs and a short skit showcasing stories of heroism highlighted the spirit of the occasion. The assembly concluded with Principal Sir’s heartfelt tribute to the bravehearts, leaving everyone with a deep sense of respect and patriotism. |
La Fête Nationale (Bastille Day) |
Delhi Public School Panipat Refinery celebrated La Fête Nationale (Bastille Day) with a vibrant special assembly that brought the charm, culture, and language of France alive on campus. The programme featured captivating skits, melodious French songs, and graceful dances, each reflecting the spirit of France and receiving enthusiastic applause. Special guest Mrs. Navinderdeep Kaur shared insightful thoughts on the value of cultural exchange and language learning in today’s globalized world. The event concluded with inspiring words from Principal Mr. Surender P. Sachdeva, encouraging students to embrace multilingualism and appreciate global cultures. The celebration was a joyful reminder of the diversity that unites us all. |
Assembly on Forgiveness |
Class VIII B conducted a profound and uplifting special assembly on the theme “Forgiveness” on 8th July 2025, shedding light on its vital role in emotional resilience and personal harmony. The assembly commenced with a thoughtful "Thought for the Day", followed by the articulate presentation of news headlines. A poignant Hindi poem was recited, beautifully capturing the liberating essence of forgiveness. The highlight of the assembly was a compelling speech that underscored how forgiveness is not a weakness but a courageous act that promotes healing and strengthens relationships. The assembly concluded with a reflective moment, inspiring students to practice forgiveness as a lifelong virtue. |
Special Assembly on Leadership |
The students of Grade III- V came together to present a vibrant and meaningful Special Assembly Celebration on the theme ‘Leadership’ in the school assembly area on 23rd May 2025. The event was organized to promote values of unity, leadership and learning beyond the classroom, and it highlighted the talents and enthusiasm of our young learners. The Principal, Mr. Surendra P. Sachdeva, addressed the gathering appreciating the confidence, creativity and coordination of the students. The event concluded with the national anthem and a vote of thanks. Overall, the special assembly was a great success, providing an engaging platform for students to express themselves, build confidence, and strengthen school spirit. |
Assembly on Family Values |
The students of class V E organised assembly on Family: Role and importance. The assembly commenced with the morning prayer followed by a thought in French and its translation in English. An inspiring poem and and a skit was performed to show family bonding, values, traditions, and a sense of belonging. Ms. Vidhu (incharge of classes I to V) shared some thoughts of wisdom and encouraged the students to be kind, patient, and supportive as when we treat each other with love and respect, we create a stronger, happier community for everyone. |
Special Assembly on Buddha Poornima & Prize Distribution |
A special assembly was conducted on Buddha Purnima by the students of X B along with morning prayer and thought of the day on 13th May 2025. A beautiful skit was performed highlighting the teachings and ideals of Lord Buddha. After the skit the students of various Olympiads were felicitated by the honourable Principal Sir. These accomplishments reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and their success stands as a proud moment for the school, inspiring others to strive for excellence. |
Mothers Day Assembly |
The young hearts of Grade 5 D came together to honour the most selfless and powerful force in our lives — a mothers love on 8th May 2025. The assembly unfolded with a sense of grace and gratitude, beginning with a soulful thought of the day that reminded us how a mothers love lasts not just today, but every day. From a Sanskrit shloka echoing the sacred bond between mother and child to a French poem that was beautifully recited and translated love was felt in every word, every language. The highlight of the day was a unique A to Z Tribute to Mothers where each alphabet unfolded a reason why moms are our forever heroes. A vibrant dance performance dedicated to mothers and teachers alike brought energy and joy to the stage. No matter the language, the age, or the moment — a mothers love is the same: timeless, tireless, and true. |
Special Assembly on Birth Anniversary of Guru Rabindranath Tagore & Prize Distribution |
The morning assembly on 6th May 2025 was one of reverence, pride, and celebration as our school came together to commemorate the birth anniversary of the iconic poet, writer, philosopher and Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore. His timeless contributions to literature, art, and education were remembered through soulful performances like a thought, poem and a speech by the students of Class 8C The assembly also served as a proud platform to felicitate our brilliant students who have excelled in various prestigious academic competitions like International Mathematics Olympiad, National Science Talent Search Examination, and Hindi Olympiad. The winners of the Productivity Week Quiz and Painting Competition were also given prizes as a token of appreciation. |
Assembly on Time Management |
The morning assembly held on 01.05.25 by class 5 C students was centered around the crucial theme of Time Management. The program was thoughtfully designed to highlight the value of using time wisely and the importance of the present moment. The assembly concluded with the national anthem and a renewed commitment among students to better manage their time and make the most of every day. |
Special Assembly on Power of Reading |
To celebrate World Book Day, a special assembly was organised around the enriching theme "Power of Reading" by Class 5 B on 24th April 2025. The assembly commenced with a serene morning prayer led by Ms. Vidhu, the incharge of classes 1–5. This was followed by an inspiring thought shared by a student gracefully dressed as the legendary dramatist, William Shakespeare, setting the tone for the celebration of literature and learning. A brief yet impactful speech highlighting the significance of reading was then delivered, underscoring the transformative power of books in our lives. The assembly continued with the melodious chanting of a Sanskrit shloka, representing ancient wisdom, and a French poem, celebrating linguistic diversity and global literature. |
Special Assembly to Celebrate World Earth Day |
The morning assembly on World Earth Day was organized by students of grades III-V. Highlights of the Assembly included the inspiring thought of the day which emphasized preserving Earths natural resources. Students recited thought provoking poems in Hindi and French to highlight the theme. It was followed by a creative dialogue between Earth and Venus planets which showcased the harmful effects of neglecting our planet. The assembly concluded with emphasis on use of 3R’s (Reduce , Reuse and Recycle). Introduction of 4th R (Refuse) encouraged everyone to refuse buying unnecessary things and storing them. |
Special Assembly on Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar |
An assembly was organised on 16th April 2025 to celebrate the birth anniversary of the great national leader Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The assembly was hosted by the students of class XA and all the classes from VI - XII were present on this great occasion. The assembly started with the morning prayer read by the Vice Head Girl of the school along with a beautiful thought, poem and nukkad natak by the students of the above mentioned class. The participants gave a mesmerising performance & highlighted the ideas of this great leader. |
Assembly on Adaptability |
On 8th April 2025, the students of classes VI to XII observed an assembly presentation by the students of Class VIII D, on the theme Adaptability. To begin with a melodious prayer was sung. In addition to an inspiring thought, the news updates, an educational speech and a poem based on nature and its lesson on adaptability was presented. The assembly concluded with honourable Principal Sirs words of advice on adaptability and importance of inclusive environment in the school. He also talked about more creative ways and ideas to present during assembly. |

Earth Day Assembly & Prize Distribution Ceremony |
The students of Grade X did a remarkable assembly to celebrate Earth Day, spreading a sense of environmental awareness and responsibility. The assembly served as a testament to the students’ dedication to nurturing a greener and more sustainable future. A Prize Distribution Ceremony was also held to award the students for their outstanding achievements. Our Principal motivated the children to be united in the commitment to preserving and protecting the precious planet. He further felicitated the bright achievers and expected to look forward to continued success and growth as we inspire and empower our students to reach new heights of achievement in the years to come. |

A special assembly was conducted by Grade VIII students to commemorate the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. With unwavering enthusiasm, students poured their hearts into a soulful song. A prize distribution ceremony was also held to award the students for their outstanding achievements. The winners were awarded and appreciated by Shri Baljeet Singh General Manager (MS, L&D). Our Revered Principal appreciated the efforts put in by the students and motivated the children and educators alike. |

Assembly on Adaptability and Cleanliness Drive |
With an invigorating spirit, 12th Grade students presented an assembly on the topic Adaptability which highlighted the importance and value of change in a constructive way in our lives. Our Principal Mr Surender P. Sachdeva reinforced it further by focussing on being adaptable to be successful in life. He further highlighted the importance of Cleanliness which is considered next to Godliness. A Cleanliness Drive was being performed by students of Grade 6 to 12 wherein they enthusiastically participated in cleaning the campus. |
